Sony Xperia M to be released in the UK in August
If you want to know when the handset will be available in the UK, it looks like it’s going to happen in August.
Carphone Warehouse expects to have the Xperia M in stock at that time. It doesn’t say how much it’s going to ask for the handset though. But another British retailer – Handtec – has priced it at £227.99 (around €268), listing all four color versions of the device: black, white, purple, and yellow (lime). However, Handtec doesn’t provide an estimated release date.
Measuring 124 x 62 x 9.3 mm and weighing 115 grams, the Xperia M is the smallest and lightest Sony smartphone introduced this year. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, featuring: a 4 inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, NFC, HSPA, dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of expandable internal memory, VGA front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera, and a 1,750 mAh battery.
