Casio Commando 4G LTE for Verizon smiles in leaked press image
There’s a new Casio Commando coming to Verizon. This will be the successor to the G’zOne Commando from two years ago. Thankfully though, it will come with support for 4G LTE connectivity. And hopefully with some more up-to-date specs than its predecessor too.
The handset will be rugged, and will be one of those devices that isn’t afraid to show its ruggedness. The looks are all about that, as you can see in the image below. This is a press render depicting the next Casio Commando that will be sold by Verizon, and it’s been leaked to @evleaks, a constant source for these sorts of things.
The new Commando was spotted at the FCC a couple of months ago, and that means it should be close to an official acknowledgement already. Unfortunately though, aside from the LTE support, there’s not much we know about its specs. It will probably be a midranger, however, just like the handset that came before it. A rugged midranger with feisty looks.
Since this is a sequel to another pretty similar device, we’re going to assume that at least some people have found that combination attractive in the past – so they (or others) may be interested in this too when it hits the market.
