Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 for AT&T (SGH-i527) hits the FCC. US Cellular might launch the handset, too
Not long ago, we’ve seen a list of Samsung smartphones expected to be released by AT&T in the near future. The giant Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was among them, with the model number SGH-i527.
The i527 was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG earlier this month, and now it’s been approved by the FCC, too. The Federal Commission confirms that the device comes with AT&T-friendly LTE connectivity. Unfortunately, there’s still no word on exactly when the second largest US carrier will launch the Mega 6.3. Its price is also unknown, but it could be $199.99 on contract.
Meanwhile, AT&T has already launched one of the new Samsung Android devices that were on the list mentioned earlier: the waterproof Galaxy S4 Active, which is offered for $199.99 (on contract, of course).
In addition to being released by AT&T, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is also headed to US Cellular – at least according to EVleaks.
We’ll bring more on this as soon as new details arrive.
