Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3 launched in the UK
As of today, July 1, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3 are both available in the UK, with Three being the first network to sell them.
The Galaxy S4 Mini is offered for free on Three plans starting at £26 per month.
The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is offered for free, too, but only on monthly plans starting at £33.
You can also opt to buy the Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Mega 6.3 SIM-free. Retailer Clove is asking £376.80 (€440) for the S4 Mini, and £454.80 ((€530) for the Mega 6.3.
Announced at the same time with the Galaxy Mega 5.8 (which will probably not be released in the UK at all), the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 runs Android 4.2.2, and features: a 6.3 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels, LTE, NFC, a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, 8MP rear camera, and a 3,200 mAh battery.
Also running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the S4 Mini is considerably smaller than the Mega 6.3, as it only sports a 4.3 inch (qHD) display. Other than that, it comes with LTE, NFC, a similar dual-core 1.7GH CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot, and a 1900 mAh battery.
As for the Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom, these should be out in the UK in the near future, too – possibly starting the end of this week, or next week.
