Sony Xperia i1 Honami renders get leaked
Last week we showed you the upcoming Sony smartphone codenamed Honami (possibly named Xperia i1 when it hits the streets) in some live images. But those weren’t the clearest in the world, so how about a few leaked renders this time around? Interested? OK. Just look below.
What you see is allegedly the Sony Honami in some official renders created for its launch by the Japanese company. Unfortunately none of the renders focuses on the back of the device, so we can’t see how big that rumored 20 MP camera will be, but can check out what Sony’s software layer atop Android will look like for its next flagship handset.
The Honami could be getting official as early as this Thursday, on July 4. Or not. But regardless of when it will be introduced, one thing is clear – this will be the smartphone that Sony will pit against the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, and the upcoming LG G2. So it pretty much has to be good.
Rumored specs, aside from the 20 MP camera, include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, water and dust resistance, and a battery of around 3,000 mAh. It should run Android 4.2.2 from day one.
