Samsung Galaxy Prevail 2 with Android Jelly Bean launched by Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile is now selling a new Android smartphone made by Samsung: the Galaxy Prevail 2.
Coming as the successor to the Galaxy Prevail released way back in 2011, the new handset runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Its features include 3G connectivity, a 4 inch WVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 5MP rear camera with HD video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1.4GHz processor, MicroSD card support (2GB card included in the box), and a 1,750 mAh battery. The smartphone is certified by the independent UL Environment, containing “environmentally preferable materials with a minimal environmental impact.”
Boost is selling the Galaxy Prevail 2 for $179.99 – no contract required. It looks like the handset is available in only one color version, namely white. Interested customers can order it here.
Boost Mobile is currently offering various other Samsung smartphones, including the Galaxy S III ($399.99), Galaxy S II ($199.99), Galaxy Rush ($99.99), and Transform Ultra (also $99.99). Even the old Galaxy Prevail is still available, costing $79.99.
