Verizon’s Motorola Droid Ultra will have a red version
AT&T’s Nokia Lumia 1020 isn’t the only smartphone that appeared in a red color version today. Verizon’s unannounced Motorola Droid Ultra has been spotted in red, too. So it looks like the new Droid will have a total of three color options (black and white being the other two).
Unveiled by EVleaks / The Unlockr, the red Droid Ultra does have a certain charm:
As previously reported, Verizon will hold a press event on July 23 in Ney York City, and the Droid Ultra is probably going to be announced then. Together with it, we should also see the Droid Maxx and the Droid Mini. All of them might be available for purchase starting August 8.
The Droid Ultra should feature a Full HD display (possibly of about 5 inches), 2GB of RAM, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and Kevlar coating (visible on the back and bottom). It remains to be seen if it’ll run Android 4.2 at launch, or a newer version of the OS.
