Google Nexus 7 v2 specs, pics and video leak

It’s been more than a year since Google’s first  Nexus 7 tablet shipped. So it’s about time they got the second generation of the device out.

Well, they will, soon.

Google is doing a press event next Wednesday, and it’s almost certain the gathering will be about Nexus 7 v2 and Android 4.3.

What’s even better, according to Engadget, new Google tablets will hit the shops on the very same day, and will still be rather cheap, with youngest 16GB model going for $229 and 32GB tablet setting you back $269.

Also today we finally get a good look at Nexus 7 v2. Android Central got their hands on a bunch of photos and even video of the new device:

Google Nexus 7 v2 leaked

The are still some questions about the specs of Nexus 7.2, and Google with Asus might have some surprises here. The latest leaks point to:

  • 7” LCD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU
  • 4GB (!) of RAM
  • 5MP main and 1.2MP front cameras
  • 16 and 32GB of storage options
  • Dual speakers on the back

Well, that’s about all we can tell you now about Nexus 7 v2. But with the announcement and shipping date less than a week away, I’m sure we’ll hear even more soon.
