Nokia Lumia 625 may arrive in the UK on August 26
The Lumia 625 is Nokia’s largest ever Windows Phone. It got official last week, but interestingly, despite being as large as it is, it’s not a high-end device. Rather, it’s supposed to be an affordable midranger for those who love big thigs. We’ve heard that the Nokia Lumia 625 would make it to no less than three major operators in the UK (EE, Vodafone, and O2) in September.
However, things may go faster than initially planned, it seems. It turns out that the Lumia 625 may be released in the UK on August 26. This tidbit of information comes from the Twitter account @vizileaks, which has accurately leaked stuff related to the Lumia 1020 before. So this may be real.
The Nokia Lumia 625 isn’t yet available to pre-order in SIM-free and unlocked form in the UK, and we don’t know whether the August 26 release date is meant for operators or third party retailers or those companies who sell SIM-free devices. Still, this means that if you’re eager to get your hands on a Lumia 625 you’ll only have around three weeks of waiting to do from now on. So good news for you.
