HTC One Max (T6) pictures and specs leak again

HTC One, when it launched, was one of the best designed smartphones this year. And it still is the best designed Android smartphone  all around.

Unfortunately, the times when a single great flagship could propel your company to success are over. You now need a full  portfolio  of competitive smartphones, at various screen sizes and price points, to succeed.

And that’s what HTC is doing now, bringing One design to a range of new products. First was was HCT One Mini – a lower specked, cheaper device. And soon they will launch HTC One Max – a top of the line Android phablet.

Previously rumored under the codename T6, HTC One Max will come equipped with:

  • 5.9” Full HD display,
  • Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz CPU
  • 2GB of RAM/16GB of ROM, micro SD card support
  • Ultrapixel camera with optical image stabilization
  • 2.1 megapixel from camera
  • 3300 mAh battery
  • 9.4mm thin body

From the specs above, HTC One Max looks like a top of the line phablet. But it will probably be pretty expensive, it will also compete directly against Samsung Galaxy Note 3. And that’s a problem for Taiwanese OEM. HTC One didn’t fare  too well against Galaxy S4, and I don’t any reason see for One Max to do better against Note 3.

Probably will have the same problems as the HTC One: price, availability, battery life(even with 3300 mAh) and non removable battery.
