Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini to be launched by Verizon?

While AT&T is seemingly getting ready to launch HTC’s One Mini, it appears that Verizon is planning the release of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini.

A Verizon-branded S4 Mini (model number SCH-i435) has showed up in some photos recently – even in one that compares it to Apple’s iPhone 5.

Unsurprisingly, the S4 Mini for Verizon looks pretty much like the international version. It (obviously) has LTE connectivity, and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The rest of its features should include: a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 1,900 mAh battery.

There is no word on when Verizon will start selling the Galaxy S4 Mini, and neither on its price. However, since the large Galaxy S4 costs $199.99 on contract, the Mini will probably be offered for $99.99. We should hear more about this soon, so stick around.
