LG G2 press photo appears ahead of official announcement

LG will fully unveil its G2 high-end smartphone only later today (August 7), but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a good look at it  right now.

EVLeaks (who else?) has unveiled the first press photo of the G2, showing its front and back sides. The handset certainly looks nice.

As you may already know, the G2 comes with volume buttons on the back, this giving it a distinct appearance.

While it could go on sale in South Korea starting August 8, the G2 might not be released in other markets until September, or even October. In the US, all major carriers should sell it at some point.

Feature-wise, the new G2 will offer a 5.2 inch Full HD display, Android Jelly Bean, LTE-Advanced connectivity, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor (2.3GHz), and a 13MP rear camera.

LG seemingly plans to sell 10 million G2s around the world. It can do it, of course, but it remains to be seen in how many months it will happen.
