LG Optimus F6 and F3 joining the G2 at T-Mobile USA
T-Mobile USA is launching no less than three new LG Android smartphones. Alongside the G2 flagship (officially announced moments ago), the fourth largest US carriers is also introducing the LG Optimus F6, and LG Optimus F3.
Only the Optimus F3 is available to purchase starting today (here). It’s a cheap handset that features LTE connectivity, a 4 inch WVGA display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1MP front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 4GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2,460 mAh battery.
The F3 is offered for a down payment of $0, plus monthly payments of $10 for 2 years. Alternatively, you can pay $240 outright.
The Optimus F6 also features Android Jelly Bean and LTE, but it’s bigger than the F3, sporting a 4.5 inch display (probably qHD, or HD). Details on its price and availability will be unveiled soon.
Last – but certainly not least – the LG G2 will be a top-of-the-range handset at T-Mobile (and everywhere else). It comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and a (seemingly impressive) 3,000 mAh battery. T-Mobile didn’t say when its G2 would be released – but it will share more on this in the coming weeks. Interested customers can sign-up here for future details.
