HTC One Max renders leak. HTC One Mini to have “custom versions” around the world

HTC’s unannounced One Max (also known as T6) is not at all a mysterious handset, since it appeared several times until now in various leaked photos.

Today we also get to see it in renders, although EVleaks notes that this is a non-final design. I don’t think the final version will look significantly different anyway. After all, what we have here is just a giant HTC One.

Sadly, there’s still no word on when HTC will officially announce the One Max. But it will likely do it very soon. The device will be HTC’s first phablet, reportedly featuring a 5.9 inch Full HD display, an UltraPixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor (also used by Sony on its Xperia X Ultra), 16GB of expandable memory, and a 3,300 mAh battery. Hopefully, Android 4.3 will be on board from day one.

In related news, the HTC One Mini (officially unveiled last month), will have “custom versions” depending on carrier and market. At least that’s what Focus Taiwan is saying, quoting a company executive. We’re not sure what that means, but we’ll see. The One Mini is already out in the UK, and will be launched around the world later this month.

Interestingly, both the HTC One Max and One Mini might be released in the US by AT&T at some point (see more on that here and here).
