Verizon now has a sign-up page for HTC One, still no official launch date
Verizon is sure taking its sweet time to launch the HTC One – which has been available via all other major US carriers for quite many months now. The good news is that today VZW has put up a sign-up page for the One (you can check it out here). This probably means that the rumored August 29 launch date is correct.
Pricing has yet to be detailed. It remains to be seen if Verizon will offer both the 32GB and 64GB versions of the One. If so, prices will probably start at $199.99 (on contract).
In the near future, Verizon will introduce several other appealing handsets, including the Motorola Droid Ultra and Ultra Maxx (both expected to arrive on August 20), Moto X (August 23), and LG G2 (probably launching sometime in September). Or maybe you’re interested in having an affordable Android smartphone with sliding QWERTY keyboard? That’s also coming soon to Verizon – as the LG Enact.
Update: it looks like the Moto X, Droid Ultra and Droid Ultra Maxx have been delayed, while the HTC One could be out on August 23.
