HTC One Max gets compared to the One and One Mini, may come in October with a fingerprint sensor
The HTC One Max (codenamed T6) has been leaking like crazy recently, and the leaks just keep on pouring. This time we can see it in a photograph alongside the other two members of HTC’s new One family: the One Mini (to the left) and the One (center).
Obviously, the One Max is big. With its 5.9″ touchscreen, that’s no surprise to anyone. But it may also come with a fingerprint sensor, which could be what’s behind that big square sitting underneath the camera. It even looks like the device will sport a three-pin dock connector on its side.
Alongside this image also comes some new information about the One Max. It’s said to only become available in mid-October or late October. This might mean that Samsung’s Galaxy Note III will launch before the One Max, hence stealing a part of its spotlight.
The picture above contradicts some leaked renders of the One Max that we saw earlier this month courtesy of a famed leaker. However, those renders were clearly labelled “non-final” so what you see above is probably the final design of this phablet.
The HTC One Max should sport a 5.9″ 1080p Full HD touchscreen and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the latter being the staple of all recent or upcoming high-end smartphones.
