LG posts G Pad 8.3 teaser video, making its next tablet official
If you still had any doubts… throw them away right now. The LG G Pad 8.3 is real. Real enough for the company that’s making it to have posted the first teaser video about it on its official YouTube account.
This means that the G Pad will probably be unveiled within the next month or so (if we go by how far before the announcement LG started teasing the G2). LG is definitely getting us used to unveiling events that don’t offer any surprises, and we’re fine with that. Even if LG would have stayed mum, the rumors are practically pouring in at this point.
The video (which you can see embedded below) is about asking people what would make a tablet ‘just right’ for them. The answers that were selected for this teaser all give us clues about what LG has planned with the G Pad 8.3, even though no actual specs are mentioned and the tablet isn’t shown at all.
So, the G Pad should come with a 1080p Full HD touchscreen and be small and pocketable (at least compared to 10-inch tablets), quick, easy to use, thin, but big enough to still enjoy things on. LG definitely thinks it’s on to something with this never before seen 8.3-inch form factor, and that shows throughout the video. The G Pad is likely to be able to somehow connect to LG’s smart televisions too.
We’ll obviously let you know when we find out more official info about the LG G Pad 8.3. It really shouldn’t take long, since now the teaser campaign has started.
