Nokia’s Bandit Windows Phone phablet called Lumia 1520?
Nokia’s first phablet, currently codenamed Bandit, might end up being marketed as the Lumia 1520. That’s the device’s name according to EVleaks – known for usually providing accurate information.
From the details gathered until now, we know that the Bandit / Lumia 1520 should have a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, quad-core Qualcomm processor, and a camera with a 20MP (or more) sensor. AT&T could be among the carriers to launch the phablet in the US.
Needless to say, Nokia will probably try to sell its phablet – which will run the yet to be released Windows Phone 8 GDR3 – in as many markets as possible.
As you may already know, Nokia is also working on a Windows RT tablet. This is codenamed Sirius, and should compete with Apple’s iPad.
We don’t know when the Lumia 1520 / Bandit will be announced. But maybe Nokia will want to officially unveil it at the same time with the Sirius. We’ll let you know.
