New, unnamed entry-level HTC smartphone pictured. One Max appears in more photos
HTC has already introduced a few affordable Android smartphone this year, including the Desire 200 (which is available to purchase in select markets since last month), and the Desire 500 (arriving this quarter). Another one is seemingly coming soon. Spotted somewhere in China, this new HTC handset should have a WVGA display of around 4 inches, featuring 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a 5MP rear camera.
According to this post on Weibo (log in required), the unnamed HTC smartphone will cost around $210. China might be the first market to get it, but there is no word on when it might be announced.
There’s also news regarding the HTC One Max. New images of it have appeared over at ePrice, and they appear to confirm that the phablet has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The smaller handset is the regular HTC One, of course:
HTC will probably officially unveil the One Max next month. The new device should feature Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Sense 5.5 UI, a 5.9 inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, LTE, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2MP front-facing camera, an UltraPixel rear camera (possibly similar to what we can find on the HTC One), 32GB of internal memory, and a 3,000+ mAh battery.
