Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 (SM-P900) and Galaxy Gear (prototype) pictured?
One of Samsung’s upcoming high-end tablets, namely the SM-P900, is seemingly going to be called Galaxy Note 12.2. Moreover, Korean website Moveplayer claims to have an image that shows the new tablet.
Apparently sporting a 12.2 inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Galaxy Note 12.2 should feature an Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor.
The SM-P900 model number is already confirmed by Samsung (alongside the SM-P905 – which is probably the tablet’s LTE edition).
Another upcoming Android device from Samsung – which represents a first for the company – is the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. VentureBeat has some images that reportedly reveal the Gear:
However, GigaOM says that the smartwach seen in these images is just a prototype, and its final design will be different. The Gear seems to be about 3 inches diagonally, with the display measuring 2.5 inches. Its features seemingly include Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, a 4MP camera “built into the strap”, S Voice, dual-core Exynos 4212 processor, and a battery that can last for at least 10 hours.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy Gear in a couple of days, on September 4, at IFA 2013 in Berlin. The company will officially present the Galaxy Note III there as well. It remains to be seen if the Note 12.2 SM-P900 tablet will also debut this week. We’ll let you know.
