Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launching in early October at AT&T and T-Mobile. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 LTE available at AT&T now
Officially announced just a couple of days ago, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can be already pre-ordered at AT&T in the US. The carrier is asking $299.99 (on contract) for the device, saying that orders will be shipped “around October 1.” The off-contract price is $729.99.
AT&T will also sell the Galaxy Gear smartwatch “soon”, for a price that hasn’t been revealed.
T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will be both available on October 2. The Note will cost $199.99 (plus 24 equal monthly device payments of $21), while the Galaxy Gear is going to be offered for $299.99 (contract-free).
Obviously, Verizon and Sprint will offer the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, too. Most likely, they’ll also do it in early October.
Running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the American Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, LTE, NFC, improved S Pen stylus, 3GB of RAM, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP rear camera with 4K video recording, 32GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 3,200 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, AT&T has launched another relatively new Samsung Android device – the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 LTE. This can be purchased as of now for $299.99 on contract. Moreover, the carrier has also started selling LG’s G2 today ($199.99 on contract). With its 5.2 inch Full HD screen, the G2 can be seen as a Note 3 competitor.
