LG G Pad 8.3 headed to 30 countries before the end of the year
LG is getting really serious about the speedy distribution of its new mobile gadgets. It used to take them months and months to start the worldwide shipments of the latest flagship device, and by the time it became available outside of Korea and, maybe, U.S., it was already old news.
It took only about a month for LG to start the worldwide roll-out of its newest G2 smartphone, and by the end of October - 100 carriers should have it.
Now LG tells us that the plans for its new LG G Pad 8.3 are no less ambitious. It starts shipping next month, and by the end of the year will be available in 30 countries in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, CIS, Africa, etc;
G Pad 8.3 has a good chance to become the first hit tablet for LG. It ’s got the looks and specs, and only needs a good marketing push to start moving in good volumes.
And, of course, a good price. If LG gets greedy and prices G Pad 8.3 at or above iPad mini level, the sales will bomb. 20-30% below that, and the chances of selling a million or two of them are pretty good.
