Sony Xperia Z1 Mini (Honami Mini) to arrive in the next few months
While getting ready to start shipping its Xperia Z1 flagship smartphone, Sony is seemingly also preparing the launch of a smaller version of the device. We heard about it last month, and now an alleged photo of its front panel has appeared on the Web. The handset may, or may not be called Xperia Z1 Mini.
Like its bigger brother, the upcoming smartphone does not have physical buttons on the front. It’s said that its display is a 4.3 inch HD (1280 x 720) one. It should come with the same processor (quad-core Snapdragon 800) and the same rear camera (20.7MP with Sony G Lens) as the Z1. Other expected features: 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 2,400 mAh battery.
Samsung and HTC are already selling mini versions of their flagship Android smartphones – Galaxy S4 Mini and One Mini, respectively. It remains to be seen when Sony will announce its Xperia Z1 Mini. It should happen in the next few months anyway.
