HTC One Tablet shows up in China (Update. It’s probably not HTC, but Ramos K1)
It’s no secret that HTC is preparing for the launch of One Max 6” phablet later this year. And it may not be the largest One styled device to come from Taiwanese smartphone OEM.
Earlier today this picture started popping up on Chinese Twitter like service – Weibo:
As you can see it shows a tablet, made in HTC One style.
Is it real HTC device, or just a really persuasive Photoshop job? I have no idea idea. It looks real enough, but you never know with these things at first.
With HTC now moving its One design up and down the value chain, One Tab is certainly one of the things they may try to boost the crashing sales. And well designed, meticulously built Android tablets are few and far between, so we could certainly use One from HTC.
On the other hand, after its Flyer tablet flopped, and now entering the loss territory the smartphone biz, is HTC ready to take a gamble on a tablet once again? Do they have a choice not to try?
I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Update: It seems that the tablet above is Chinese clone called Ramos K1
