Dual SIM Nokia Lumia 720 might be in the making

Dual SIM Android smartphones are pretty common, at least in some parts of the world, as Samsung, LG and HTC (among others) are all selling them. But what about dual SIM Windows Phone 8 handsets? Well, there’s no such thing at the moment. However, the first dual SIM WP device could arrive soon.

According to EVleaks, Nokia “may” launch a dual SIM version of its Lumia 720. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t know when it’s supposed to happen, and neither in what markets.

Announced by Nokia in February, and available to purchase since April, the single SIM Lumia is currently priced at about €260. It comes with Windows Phone 8, a 4.3 inch IPS ClearBlack WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS with Glonass, 6MP Carl Zeiss rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,000 mAh battery. The handset’s dual SIM version should have similar specs, and probably a slightly higher price.
