LG accidentally publishes Nexus 5 GD820 pics among Verizon G2 FCC documents
Unless this is some stealthy marketing campaign, the person responsible for the FCC certification of LG D820 Nexus 5, must be in big trouble.
First he forgot to request the confidentiality for Nexus 5 test report with device pics and some specs. And now he included LG D820 pictures with Verizon’s G2 FCC certification docs, that became public today.
If you follow the link above to the FCC documents for this device, and download the user’s manual – it says clearly – Verizon LG G2. Device model number – VS980 – is also for Verizon G2. But the device above – is obviously LG D820. It even has the FCC label with that model number. If you compare it to that leaked LG Nexus 5 pic, it’s obviously the same smartphone.
And, I’m afraid, the thing I was worried about – too small battery, is also confirmed. In this picture you can see that it’s only 2300 mAh:
Other LG Nexus 5 specs include:
- 7 band LTE connectivity
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU
- 5” display
- Bleutooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac
- 2300 mAh battery
- Qi Wireless charging
- Dimensions: 131.9 mm long, 68.2mm wide
If history is any guide, Google should launch Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5 in early November.
