Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could be out in the US (at Best Buy) on September 19
While AT&T and T-Mobile are already accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, neither will have the handset in stock before early October. Luckily, it looks like Best Buy will start selling the new Note really soon – at least if we’re to believe what two screenshots received by Sam Mobile are suggesting.
According to the images, Best Buy should have the Note 3 in stock, unlocked, on September 19. The price seen there – $999.99 – is probably a placeholder, since Samsung will likely not want to ask more than $700 for the new device.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 3 that’s listed by Best Buy is the N9000 – the Exynos 5 Octa variant, which doesn’t have LTE connectivity. The Note 3 that will be available at all major US carriers is the Snapdragon 800 version (which obviously has LTE).
Of course, if you don’t plan to rely on LTE in the near future, the Exynos 5 Octa-powered Note 3 won’t be a bad choice, as it’s almost identical to the Snapdragon model, offering: Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, a 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, enhanced S Pen stylus, 13MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB / 64GB of internal memory, and a 3,200 mAh battery.
We’ll see later this week if Best Buy is indeed going to stock the new Samsung Galaxy Note.
