Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be available on October 4 for a whopping $349.99
The Galaxy Note 3 will become available at Sprint through all channels on October 4. That said, the carrier’s pricing of the new phablet is bordering on insane. Sure, we said the same thing a couple of years ago when Verizon first decided to price an Android flagship at $299.99 with a two-year contract, and now AT&T, for example, is going to offer the Note 3 for exactly that price – and no one thought it odd. After all, the Note 3 is bigger and better than the Galaxy S4 anyway, so it should be more expensive, right? Well, maybe.
But Sprint has even crossed the $300 line without looking back, and it wants you to pay $349.99 for the Galaxy Note 3 – with contract, remember. So you pay that much and then basically you’re Sprint’s slave for a couple of years. Obviously, that price is also before taxes, as prices in the US all tend to be for some reason. This is a hard pill to swallow from the Now Network, that’s for sure.
The carrier has also announced that the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be out on the same day (October 4), and will cost $299.99. The Note 3 will come in white and black, while the Gear will be offered in black, beige, and orange.
