Sony intros NW-ZX1 and NW-F880 Android Jelly Bean Walkman players

Sony has announced two new Walkman players that run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean: the NW-ZX1 and NW-F880.

The NW-F880 is in fact a whole series of devices, including the NW-F885 (with 16GB of internal memory), NW-F886 (32GB), and NW-F887 (64GB). All will be available in Japan starting October 19, for prices between 27,000 JPY ($274) and 40,000 JPY ($406), featuring: dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP processor, 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, FM radio, and a 4 inch Luminous display with 854 x 480 pixels.

The NW-F880 series will have four color versions: white, black, pink, and blue.

The NW-ZX1 keeps most of the features the NW-F880 players are offering, sans the FM radio. However, the NW-ZX1 comes with 128GB of internal memory, this rising its price to a whopping 75,000 JPY (about $751).
