Dual SIM LG G Pro Lite seemingly coming soon
Although it’s been overshadowed by the newer G2, the LG Optimus G Pro remains a pretty nice smartphone, offering most of the features that are expected from a high-end device. What the G Pro does not have is dual SIM capabilities – but it looks like this will be solved soon, as LG is getting ready do introduce a version of the handset called G Pro Lite Dual.
Despite the “Lite” in its name, the new handset is as big as the original G Pro, sporting a 5.5 inch True IPS display. Other features reportedly include an 8MP rear camera, dual speakers, and a 3,140 mAh battery.
According to Hiemail@example.com, the G Pro Lite Dual will be released in Russia in mid-October, costing only 12,990 RUB (about $402, or €297). The affordable price might mean that the 5.5 inch screen of the smartphone is an HD one, not Full HD . Moreover, the processor inside the G Pro Lite Dual may not be a quad-core Snapdragon 600 (as on the Optimus G Pro). LG could have turned to MediaTek for a cheaper CPU.
If it debuts in Russia next month, the LG G Pro Lite Dual is probably going to be released in other markets at about the same time. We’ll let you know more when LG officially announces the handset.
