Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Sprint’s HTC One available today
Sprint HTC One users are the first in the US to enjoy the benefits of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. An official update for the handset is rolling out as of today – this has been confirmed by HTC USA president Jason Mackenzie via Twitter.
Sprint’s HTC One currently costs $99.99 on contract, and customers can choose to get it in three color versions: silver, black, or red. The handset can be purchased online here.
For the moment, there’s no word on when the HTC One sold by other US carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) will get Android 4.3. But it should happen in the near future anyway.
The HTC One will certainly get Android 4.4 KitKat, too. Unfortunately, we have no idea when it’s going to happen. I’d be surprised to see the update arriving before the end of the year.
