White Nokia Lumia 929 (for Verizon) appears in press renders

We already know that Verizon is getting ready to introduce its own version of Nokia’s Lumia 1520. Called Lumia 929, Verizon’s device has appeared in new press renders today, in white – not long after we’ve seen a black edition of it.

Obviously, the white Lumia 929 doesn’t differ from the black one, so it’s got the same 20MP PureView camera (with dual LED flash) on the back. Other features should include a Full HD display, and a quad-core processor.

Both the black and white Lumia 929 should be launched by Verizon on November 6. There’s no word on how much they’ll cost, but between $199 and $299 on contract is probably a good guess. The handset should be officially announced by Nokia on October 22, when AT&T’s Lumia 1520 is also expected to be unveiled.

The Lumia 1520 / 929 will be Nokia’s first phablet, as well as the first Windows Phone product to have a Full HD display and a quad-core processor. The device will certainly run Windows Phone 8 GDR 3 (since the current GDR2 does not support Full HD screens).

Verizon is currently offering two other Windows Phone 8 handsets from Nokia: the affordable Lumia 822 ($0.99 on contract), and the Lumia 928 ($99 on contract). The rest of the carrier’s Windows Phone devices include the Samsung Ativ Odyssey ($0.99 on contract), and the HTC 8X (free on contract).
