Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 with 4G LTE will be available in the UK tomorrow
After a very long pre-order period, the 4G LTE-capable Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will finally be up for grabs in the UK starting tomorrow. For unknown reasons, Samsung’s made people wait for the Ace 3 more than for higher-end offerings, with pre-orders going live at the beginning of July, believe it or not.
And here we are, three months later, then. The handset is late by at least one month, since back in July retailers said things about ‘early September’ when asked about availability. Anyway, Samsung’s UK arm went to the trouble of putting out a press release for the occasion, announcing that the Galaxy Ace 3 with 4G LTE should be in stores on October 5.
The first outlets to get it will be EE’s, followed by Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, and ‘select’ other retailers. No price has been made public, but we expect it to be free with a myriad of EE 4G plans. If off-contract is more your thing, you’ll have to wait until next week, when online retailer Clove says it will have the Ace 3 in stock. Over there, the device can be yours for £239.99.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 has a 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage (of which around 5 GB is user accessible), microSD card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, and a 1,800 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
