Samsung’s first smartphone with flexible display (Galaxy Round) pictured?

It looks like Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a flexible, curved display has been pictured a few moments ago – without being officially announced. If this is the real deal (and it probably is, since it all comes from EVleaks), the handset is curved in a way that not many have expected.

It’s said that the device’s name will be Galaxy Round, while its model number is SM-G910 / SM-G910S. The model pictured (see below) seems to run on SK Telecom’s network – it’s likely that Samsung will release the handset in South Korea first, and slightly after that globally.

Overall, the Galaxy Round – or whatever it’s going to be called in the end – simply looks like a curved Galaxy Note 3. Its flexible display is believed to be a 5.7 inch Full HD AMOLED one, while Android 4.3 Jelly Bean should be on board.

Samsung may officially unveil the Galaxy Round later this week.

Next month, LG will also introduce an Android smartphone with flexible display, possibly called LG G Flex.
