LG G Pad 8.3 officially launching in the UK and Ireland soon

LG has announced that its G Pad 8.3 would be available in the UK and Ireland “in the run-up to Christmas.”

It looks like the tablet will be released in Ireland first, where customers should be able to find it starting the end of October. As previously reported, the G Pad 8.3 won’t be expensive. It will cost £259.99. The tablet will be offered exclusively via Micro P in the UK, and via Harvey Norman in Ireland.

As its name suggests, the G Pad 8.3 comes with an 8.3 inch display (Full HD, 1920 x 1200 pixels). Other features include Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support (up to 64GB), a 4,600 mAh battery, and a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (the same that’s powering HTC’s newly-announced One Max phablet).

LG G Pad 83 UK launch

Before the end of the year, LG intends to launch the G Pad 8.3 in up to 30 markets around the world.
