Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini announced for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular
Samsung has officially confirmed that its Galaxy S4 Mini would be released in the US soon. The handset won’t be available only at AT&T and Sprint (as hinted recently), but also via Verizon and US Cellular. T-Mobile doesn’t seem to be interested in offering it.
All four US carriers will release the S4 Mini starting November. AT&T will have a pink S4 Mini, while the other carriers are probably going to stick with classic color versions. Pricing details haven’t been revealed, but the smartphone should not cost more than $100 on contract.
Available in other parts of the world since July, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and features: a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display, LTE, NFC, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support. Measuring 124.5 x 61.3 x 8.9 mm and weighing 107 grams, the S4 Mini includes a 1,900 mAh battery.
