Sprint to carry the Google Nexus 5. New LTE markets announced
With only a few days before Google and LG will officially announce the Nexus 5, we’re seeing more and more details regarding the new smartphone’s availability.
The latest piece of info has it that the Nexus 5 will be released by Sprint. Since this comes from EVleaks, we’re pretty sure it’s going to happen. It remains to be seen if the third largest US carrier will sell the new Nexus from its first day of availability (expected to be November 1).
The LG Nexus 5 will run Android 4.4 KitKat, featuring a 4.95 inch Full HD display, an 8MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of internal memory, and a 2,300 mAh battery.
In related news, today Sprint announced that it turned on 4G LTE in 45 new markets across the US, now providing LTE services in a total of 230 markets. Good news before the Nexus 5 launch, isn’t it?
