Next year’s HTC One flagship (M8) should be the first handset with Sense 6.0
HTC introduced three Android smartphones included in the One series this year: the original One (released in March), the One Mini, and the large One Max (available as of this month). We don’t know if it will follow the same strategy next year, but a successor to the One will almost certainly be released. And this could be the HTC M8.
According to EVleaks, the M8 will be HTC’s first smartphone to come with Sense 6.0 UI.
Sadly, there is no word on what new features Sense 6.0 will bring, and neither on the specs of the M8. But HTC will likely stick with the metal design, a Full HD display, powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and an UltraPixel rear camera.
M8 is only a codename, so HTC has plenty of time to decide upon the new smartphone’s final moniker. Maybe it’s going to be HTC One 2 (since the original One is codenamed M7)? We will let you know.
