AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update now rolling out
Following in the footsteps of its siblings that are sold at the likes of Verizon and Sprint, AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S4 is now in the process of receiving the update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Internationally, this rollout has started in mid-October, and by the end of last month it had reached Verizon’s and Sprint’s respective models. And now it’s finally time for AT&T’s, it seems.
Obviously this will be great news for you if you own an S4 bought from AT&T, even though Google has already announced the next iteration of its mobile operating system, version 4.4 KitKat.
The update for AT&T’s Galaxy S4 comes in at a whopping 719 MB, so make sure to get it via Wi-Fi. As you might have guessed, it’s rolling out over-the-air, which means that your phone should notify you once the update is ready to download and install – all of which you can do on the handset itself, without turning to a computer for one second.
After applying the update, you’ll be on software version I337UCUEMJ9. Aside from all the features inside Android 4.3 itself, this new version brings with it support for Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch and the Knox enterprise security suite.
