HTC One Max now available at Sprint starting at $149.99
The HTC One Max is now available to buy at Sprint. The Taiwanese company’s first ever phablet that was announced in mid-October has thus reached the first US carrier. This comes exactly as anticipated in a leak from a couple of days ago.
The One Max can be yours starting at just $149.99 with a new two-year contract. That price is only valid if you switch to Sprint from another carrier, bringing your existing number along for the ride. This offer seems to only be available online. Otherwise, you’re looking at paying $249.99, obviously with the same contract requirement.
The HTC One Max caters to those who feel that a phablet should really be nothing more than an oversized phone. So don’t expect to find things such as stylus support or dedicated stylus-centric software here like in the case of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3. The One Max is for those who think that size matters above everything else. If you’re interested in picking one up from Sprint, this is where you need to go.
The HTC One Max comes with a 5.9-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen, a 4 MP UltraPixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2 MP front camera, a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, all the usual connectivity options (including LTE support), and a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
