Red HTC One Max on the way to Taiwan
HTC is getting ready to launch a red version of the One Max, its first phablet. We now know this because of a leaked promotional flyer coming from FarEasTone, a carrier in HTC’s home country of Taiwan.
The HTC One Max was officially announced in mid-October following weeks upon weeks of leaked details. The phablet has so far been available only in silver. But it looks like HTC wants to spice things up a bit and thus go for the much more in-your-face red hue. This will be sure to appeal to some.
And with the new color the Taiwanese company may be hoping to boost sales of the One Max ever so slightly. The One also got new color versions, such as red and blue, at some point after its initial release, so this strategy isn’t really new for HTC.
We don’t expect there to be any other differences between the red One Max and the silver model, save for the color. So the red HTC One Max should sport the same 5.9-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen, 4 MP UltraPixel rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of storage, all the connectivity options you can think of, and a 3,300 mAh battery. It should also run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean from day one.
