Nokia Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520 available in the UK now

Nokia’s first phablet – the 6 inch Lumia 1520 – is available in the UK as of today, December 4, two days earlier than expected.

At the moment, only Carphone Warehouse seems to have the 1520 in stock. It’s offering it for free on tariffs starting at £38 per month, only on Vodafone for now.

SIM-free, the Lumia 1520 will cost around £550 – that’s the price listed by Clove, which expects to have the black version of the device in stock on December 6, and the white one in mid December.

Also available in the UK as of now is the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet, which is exclusively sold at John Lewis. British customers can buy the 2520 in either black (here) or red (here). The tablet costs £399.95, featuring a 10.1 inch Full HD display, Windows RT 8.1, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi- 802.11a/b/g/n, 6.7MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 1.2MP front-facing camera, quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

    I bought both the (2) 1520′s and a 2520. They are both incredible devices. I haven’t used my iPad 3 since I made the switch. It was a lot easier to make the change than I previously thought.

    Hi @fizzletoe:disqus , We have the Lumia 925 and love it, was thinking of getting 1020 until 1520 came into the picture and now rumours of 929 in US, what are your thoughts personally on 1520′s design also GDR3 update version of the OS installed with latest improvements?
