12.2″ Samsung Galaxy Note Pro on its way to AT&T

Ten days ago, we found out that Samsung is working on a 12.2-inch version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition that it launched alongside the Galaxy Note 3 in September. This bigger tablet, called Galaxy Note Pro, will keep most of its smaller sibling’s specs, and its standout feature will obviously be that huge screen.

It’s supposed to launch internationally in early February, and now we’re getting word that it will make it to the US as well. AT&T is apparently the first carrier to commit to selling the Galaxy Note Pro, according to the usually reliable @evleaks.

The model number for AT&T’s version of the Note Pro will be SM-P907A, a bit different from the P900 and P905 that we’re expecting to see elsewhere. So that may mean that AT&T fiddled with the specs somewhat, or maybe not.

It’s also unclear when exactly the Galaxy Note Pro will be on AT&T store shelves, but we’re assuming it won’t be long after the same tablet gets its international unveil. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted though.

The Galaxy Note Pro is rumored to sport a 12.2-inch 2,560×1,600 touchscreen, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage space, and a 9,500 mAh battery. It should run Android 4.4 KitKat from day one.
