ZTE Blade Q Mini arrives in the UK, yours for just £59.99

Following in the footsteps of many other extremely affordable smartphones, the ZTE Blade Q Mini has now made it to the UK. It will be offered exclusively by Virgin Media later today for the incredibly low price of £59.99. It’s apparently already available at Argos, and will also be sold by Sainsbury’s.

The Blade Q Mini packs some decent features for this day and age, coming with a 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, a VGA front camera, a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1,500 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

It was announced back in October of last year, and is surely one of the best Android smartphone bargains right now. The Blade series has always focused on getting the most out of cheap handsets, and the Blade Q Mini takes that to a whole new level.

It’s unclear whether this phone will make it to other retailers and operators in the UK, or, for that matter, if we’ll see it in other countries. But for now, if you’re in the UK and want one of the cheapest Android devices around, yet don’t want any sacrifices in terms of user experience, the Blade Q Mini looks like it’s the one to get.
