Lenovo K7T “Kingdom” comes with 2,560×1,440 resolution screen, benchmark results say
Lenovo is apparently hard at work on a successor to the Vibe Z that is currently its flagship Android smartphone. The new device has the model number K7T and the codename “Kingdom”, which sounds intriguing enough.
The Lenovo K7T “Kingdom” was spotted doing its thing with the AnTuTu benchmark, and its results page gives us some hints about its specs. It features a display with 2,560×1,440 resolution (but unknown size), a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974), 3 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, and 16 GB of internal storage (though probably expandable via microSD). It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
The K7T will certainly serve as Lenovo’s next flagship handset, and we wish the company would launch it in as many markets as possible, globally. Lenovo’s been successful in the mobile space in China and a few other countries, but maybe it’s finally time for it to use its PC arm’s distribution deals to reach into many more markets.
It’s unclear when the K7T will be unveiled, but perhaps the Chinese company will use Mobile World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona next month, to present it to the world. We’ll keep you posted.
