LG G Flex now available at AT&T and T-Mobile, where it’s joined by the Optimus F3Q
Following a pre-order period of a few days, the curved LG G Flex is now finally available to purchase from both AT&T and T-Mobile. This is one of just two currently sold smartphones that come with curved displays.
At AT&T, you can buy one for $299.99 with a new two-year contract, or $694.99 if you’d rather not commit to a long-term relationship with the carrier.
At T-Mobile, the situation is a bit different, as you’d expect from the self-proclaimed ‘uncarrier’. You pay nothing upfront for the G Flex, but then you need to shell out $28 per month for 24 months in order to settle things. That’s on top of your service fee, naturally. As is always the case at the magenta carrier, you can cancel wireless service at any time, but when you do the balance on the phone becomes due.
The LG G Flex is joined today in T-Mobile’s portfolio by the Optimus F3Q, an LG smartphone that features a side-sliding physical QWERTY keyboard – something we certainly don’t see that much in this day and age. For lovers of actual buttons, this is bound to be the one to get, because despite its rather low-end specs, it’s one of the few such options available.
The Optimus F3Q can be yours for nothing upfront followed by 24 monthly payments of $13.
