Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition and Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition headed to UK, other select markets
The Black Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini were first unveiled in Russia at the end of last month, and today the Korean company has decided to make the duo even more official by acknowledging them on a global scale. The two have been mentioned on Samsung’s blog as well as in a press release, so that’s that.
The move comes because the two handsets are going to become available in more territories pretty soon – starting this month, in fact. No actual countries have been mentioned by name, but Android Central has managed to find out that the UK is one of them.
So if you’re over there, wanted to get either a Galaxy S4 or Galaxy S4 Mini but were put off by their looks, this might be interesting for you. The Black Editions are identical to the ‘normal’ versions of the S4 and S4 Mini in terms of specs, but they are all-black and come with faux leather back covers just like the Galaxy Note 3.
Pricing for the two versions hasn’t been announced internationally, but we see no reason for them to be any more expensive than the vanilla Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini models.
