Oppo Find 7 will be announced on March 19, coded teaser reveals
Oppo has been teasing the Find 7 for months. And for months before that, this handset was rumored to be in the works. So, needless to say, it’s been a really long time coming.
The wait could be over next month, though. The Chinese company posted three teaser images that together reveal the phone’s launch date, place, and time. According to Oppo Insider, the pictures below tell us that the Oppo Find 7 will be announced in the “798” art district in Beijing at 7 o’clock (we assume pm) on March 19.
The Find 7 will come with a 5.5-inch 2,560×1,440 touchscreen, which will make it one of the first handsets to sport that insane resolution (following in the footsteps of the Vivo Xplay 3S and possibly even the Samsung Galaxy S5 that will get unveiled at the end of February).
Previously we thought Oppo would use MWC to introduce its latest flagship offering and the successor to the Find 5 from 2012, but it looks like that won’t happen, for whatever reason.
Leaked specs so far have the Oppo Find 7 coming with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, and 4G LTE.
