LG G Pad 8.3 can be had for just $249.99 until Monday
The LG G Pad 8.3 normally costs $349.99, in its 16 GB Wi-Fi-only incarnation, but that’s no longer the case – if you act fast. If you need a very nicely specced Android tablet, don’t mind the 8.3-inch size, and also don’t care about running the latest software, then the G Pad 8.3 might just be for you.
And you can buy one for just $249.99 until Monday, February 17. This price is achieved by ordering from Newegg and using the promo code FWPD213B when you check out. That makes the price a nice $100 below the officially recommended one. And at $249.99, this is a great buy.
The G Pad 8.3 may not be the best-specced Android tablet out there anymore (now that Samsung’s Tab Pro line is available), but it’s close enough. And if you don’t care about timely OS updates, but do want something bigger than the 2013 Nexus 7 (which starts at just $20 less), then this is the one to get. Obviously, that is, unless you have $399 to spend on a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.
The G Pad 8.3 comes with an 8.3-inch 1,920×1,200 touchscreen, a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front camera, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an IR port, GPS, and a 4,600 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
