Nokia Lumia 1320 arrives in the UK on February 24, free on £21 per month contract
The Lumia 1320 is Nokia’s affordable phablet that was announced alongside the Lumia 1520, its high-end offering. The Lumia 1320 has been out in certain parts of the world for a few months now, but for some reason the Finnish company hasn’t brought it to the UK yet.
That’s all set to change starting on February 24, which is when the Nokia Lumia 1320 will officially go on sale in the UK. That’s in exactly ten days from today, by the way.
Nokia hasn’t announced pricing details, but the Lumia 1320 is already up for pre-order over at Carphone Warehouse, which gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The phablet can be yours for free if you go with a 24-month contract that costs at least £21 per month. That particular option requires an agreement with Vodafone, and in exchange for your cash you’ll get 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 250 MB of data each month. For just £4 more each month, though, you can choose a plan that nets you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, and 1 GB of data. This is also at Vodafone, and seems like a much better deal than the cheaper one.
Carphone Warehouse says it will ship pre-ordered devices on February 27, so a bit later than you might expect. Obviously you can pre-order right now, or you could wait for other retailers to list the Lumia 1320 – and pre-order from them if they’ll deliver earlier. Finally, you can just wait until February 24 and pop into a high street shop and get it from there. It’s all your choice, naturally.
